Our Departments
The National Institute for Security Studies has four departments. They are as follows:
Academics
The Academics department is in charge of academic activities of the institute. The department organizes the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC) and boasts of seasoned personnel with wealth of experience.
Research
Research is a key component of courses run in the National Institute for Security Studies. This department assists course participants in conducting research and maintains a well stocked library with relevant material. The department also conducts research in areas of interest of the institute.
Administration
This department coordinates activities of the institute and provides necessary services to other departments. The department handles administrative tasks such as finance, personnel management and implementation of policy, rules and regulations.
Technical Services
The technical services department houses several units which ensure facilities and equipment in the institute are fully functional at all times. The institute maintains a pool of experts who promptly attend to problems as they arise.
