Alhaji A.S. ADELEKE, fsi+, mni, was born on the 12th of February, 1959, in Konongo, Ghana. He holds a Master Degree in Public Administration and presently the Commandant, National Institute for Security Studies. He enlisted into the then Nigeria Security Organization (NSO) in 1984, as a cadet officer. In the course of his career growth, he has occupied several sensitive offices, among which included Head, Courter Terrorism Focal Point, Training School Instructor, Special Assistant (SA) to a one time DGSS, State Director of Security in many States among which included Niger, Kebbi, Kogi, Ondo, Director, Training and Staff Development and Director State Services Academy, Bauchi. He was also a State Director in Imo, from where he was moved to the National Headquarters of the Department of State Services (DSS) so as to bring his experiences to bear at the National level where he served three times Director of Training and Staff Development and Director Economic Intelligence. A.S. Adeleke has served all the Services Training Institutions except the newly established Technical Academy Calabar.
Alhaji ADELEKE, fsi+,mni, has attended various Strategic management courses like the Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC) at the prestigious Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (ISS), Abuja and the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, Plateau State. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy University, United States of America.

Didacus Egor Egbeji, fsi+, fdc

Didacus Egor Egbeji was born on 13th February, 1966, at Egbe-Mbube in Ogoja LGA of Cross River State, to the family of Nicholas Ogon Egbeji. He attended St. Patrick Primary School, Egbe-Mbube between 1970 and 1975 for his first School Leaving Certificate and proceeded to Government Secondary School, Akamkpa in Akamkpa LGA of Cross River State for his secondary education between 1975 and 1980, where he obtained the West Africa School Certificate (WASC). In 1981, he gained admission into School of Basic Studies Akamkpa in pursuit of IJMB. However, in 1983 he got admission into the University of Calabar where he obtain B.Sc Hons in Geography & Regional Planning in 1987. In 2002, he was in University of Lagos, where he bagged a Master’s degree in Industrial Labour Relations (MILR).

Egbeji enlisted into the State Security Service (SSS) on 5th June, 1989 as a Cadet officer, and has served in various Commands including Akwa – Ibom, Niger, Lagos, Bayelsa, Edo, Jigawa, Delta, Senior Staff Development Centre, Bauchi, Resource Development Centre, Bauchi, Joint Task Force ‘Operation Delta Safe’, Bayelsa and the National Headquarters. He has equally held different positions including Principal Staff Officer (PSO) in charge of Travel Control at NHSS, Assistant Director Operations, Assistant Director Admin, Assistant Director Security Enforcement, Director Resource Development Centre, Bauchi and Director, Inspectorate NHSS. In the course of service, he has attended several courses locally and foreign, including Officers Basic Course (OBC), Advance Investigation, Advance Interrogation, VIP Protection, Advance Operation, Junior Staff Management Course (JSC), International Maritime Security and Safety at US Marine Academy New York, Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC-5) 2012 and National Defence College Course 27, where he bagged fsi and fdc respectively.

He is married to Uduak E. Egbeji and they are blessed with three children. His hobbies include playing/watching football and traveling. He respects people’s opinions and is ever ready to learn, but detests liars and those who think they are wiser than others.

Ngozi Christinana ONYEMUCHARA, fsi

Ngozi Onyemuchara (Nee Anyadike) was born on 9th April 1964 to late Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence and Eunice Anyadike in Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
She stated her primary education at St. James Anglican Primary School, Ifite Nanka in 1970, where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC). In 1975, she was admitted into Anglican Girls Secondary School Onitsha and passed out in 1980, having obtained the West African School Certificate (WASC). She attended the University of Benin (UNIBEN) from 1984-1988 were she obtained a B.ED. English. She did her NYSC at Baptist Girls High School, Yaba, Lagos State in 1989.
In 1990, she was enlisted into the State Security Service (SSS) as a Cadet, Security Intelligence Officer (SIOII). In 1998, she attended the University of Calabar Distant Learning where she obtained a PDG Public Admin. From SIOII, she rose to the current rank of Director of Internal Security (DIS). NGOZI has served in Lagos, Enugu, Oyo, Edo and Abia State Commands as PSO Admin, PSO Int, and LGSC. While at Calabar Seaport and Kaduna State Command, she served in the capacity of the Assistant Director (AD) TAC Point and AD A/L respectively.
In the course of duty, she has attended the following courses: Cadet Officers Basic Course, Advanced Interrogation Course both at SSA, Lagos; Junior Staff Management Course at ISS, Abuja; Haske Biyu, at Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji, Kaduna (2007), Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC) 10, 2017 and Seminars.

Karim Adegboyega Adebayo, fsi+, Ph.D, FCILT, FSPSP, FICCON,MNIM, MINMM

Karim Adegboyega Adebayo was born on 11th June, 1964, at Ibadan, Oyo State to the family of Alhaji Adebayo Karim (late) and Alhaja Titlayo Karim. He attended Ereko Methodist Primary School, Lagos between 1970 and 1976 where he obtained the first School Leaving Certificate. Secondary Education at Awori Comprehensive High School, Ipaja, Lagos 1976 to 1978 and Government College Ketu, Epe Division, between 1978-1981 where he obtained the General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level.

Between 1981-1983, he was at Federal School of Arts and Science, Lagos for GCE A Level and obtained a Bachelors of Science (Education) degree in Chemistry from the University of Lagos in 1986. Later in 2000, he obtained a Masters of Science Degree in Transport Studies and in 2017, Master of Arts Degree in Peace and Security Studies respectively from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun State and University of Ilorin. Earlier in 2012, obtained at Ph.D in Peace and Development Studies from the University of Ilorin.

Karim had his NYSC primary assignment at Nkporo Comprehensive Secondary School, Nkporo, Ohafia LGA of Abia State in 1986-1987 Service year. On completion, he was commissioned into the Services and had since rose through the ranks and served in various States. He is an author/editor with over forty publications to his credit in Books and Learned Journals. Karim is a Fellow of scholarly bodies including National Institute for Security Studies, Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Institute of Disaster Management and Safety Science (IDMSS), Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (ICCON), as well as membership of Nigeria Institute of Management (MIN), and Society for Peace Studies and Practices (SPSP).

David Gowon OJATAH

Profile

David Gowon OJATAH was born in Nwajala, Ibaji  LGA of Kogi State on  4th August, 1969. He is an indigene of Nwajala in Ibaji LGA Kogi State and was born to the family of Late Mr. Oyaka Udonwu OJATAH and Late Mrs. Rosaline  Oyaka OJATAH.

He had his primary education at kakuri (L.E.A) Primary School, Kakuri, Kaduna South, Kaduna State, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1982. He obtained West Africa School Certificate (WASC) from Ochaja Boys’ Secondary School, Ochaja, Kogi State in 1988.

He attended the Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi State, where he obtained his National Diploma (ND) in Electrical/Electronics Engineering in 1991. He later went to The Federal Polytechnic, Bida, Niger State and obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering in 2001. He further proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, where he obtained a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering in 2015. 

He was enlisted into the Department of State Services as an Assistant Security Officer (ASO) in 1992 and has progressed and worked in several capacities in the Service. He served as Principal Staff Officer (PSO), Technical at the National Heaquarters State Services (NHSS), Niger State and Rivers State Commands. He also serve as the Deputy Commandant, Technical Services at the State Services Academy (SSA), Ojo,  Lagos, before his redeployment to the National Institute For Security Studies, Abuja.

Since his enlistment, he has attended tradecraft and technical related trainings and courses both at home and abroad. He is a happy husband of one wife with four children. His hobbies are travelling, table tennis, volley ball and scientific research.

Emiloye OYEYELE, fsi+

Emiloye Oyeyele was born on the 21st October, 1964, to the family of late Samuel and Dorcas Oyeyele of Owa-Kajola in Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State. She attended ECWA Girls Secondary School, Omu-Aran from where she proceeded to Federal School of Arts and Science Ondo, thereafter Oyo State College of Arts and Science Ile-Ife for her A levels and University of Lagos where she obtained B.A. Hons Russian Language in 1988, she was also at Pushkin Institute of Russian Language, Moscow, Russia. She obtained a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Lagos in 1999.

Emiloye enlisted into the State Security Service (SSS) on 1st April, 1990 as a Cadet Officer, she has served in various department and State Commands. She has also attended various Courses which include; Officers Basic Course (OBC), Advanced Investigation Course (AIC), VIP Protection Course, Local Government Security Intelligence Course (LGSIC), Senior Intelligence Management Course (SIMC) and Executive Intelligence Management Course (EIMC 11).

Isah Usman SHUAIBU, fsi

Isah Usman SHUAIBU was born on 25th December 1974 at Jos, in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State. He attended Local Government Education Department (LGED) Primary School Jenta, Jos, (1980 – 1986) and had his Secondary School education at Government Secondary School Jos (1986 – 1992). He later proceeded to Bayero University Kano where he obtained a B.Sc Degree in Accounting (1998), he also holds a Master
Degree in Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice (MLCJ) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria (2016).
Usman was enlisted into the Department of State Service in 1999. Since his enlistment, he has worked in diverse capacities in various departments of the Service such as; Operations, Intelligence, Finance, Surveillance, VIP Protection and other Adhoc duties.
He also served in various state commands including FCT, Enugu, Kebbi, NHSS, Katsina, Bauch States. He is currently the Deputy Director Finance and Accounts (DDF&A) of the National Institute for Security Studies, Bwari, Abuja.
In the course of his twenty-two years career, USMAN has attended several career progression as well as professional courses, seminars and workshops both within and outside the country.
His hobbies include, reading, travelling, badminton, tennis and football, USMAN is married and the union is blessed with four (4) children.
